Community Guidelines

Cued is a community platform. Our purpose is to help build connected neighborhoods which are safer and better for everyone. To achieve this, it is important that everyone can safely and freely participate in the community. We have developed these Guidelines to help you understand the types of behaviors to avoid to help foster an inclusive community.

We have outlined our Community Guidelines here, which, together with our Terms of Service, govern what is prohibited on Cued. We ask that you seek to understand the spirit in which they are intended: for Cued to be a community where people can have a positive experience.

Deceptive Identities & False Information

You may not impersonate a person or brand to mislead, confuse, or deceive others. The use of fake identities is prohibited since this degrades the experience of other users. We are building a community of trust where neighbors can connect and engage in meaningful relationships. Therefore, profiles must represent true identities using proper names and profile pictures.

You may not spread false information that causes harm to others, such as posting false reports of safety incidents that do not occur, denying the occurrence of tragic events, or undermining the integrity of civic processes.

Discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Any content (post, comment, photos.) that discriminates against people’s race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, or disability may be subject to removal. In addition, users who repeatedly engage in such behaviors may be temporarily or permanently removed from Cued.

Sensitive Media

You may not post media that depicts pornographic or sexually explicit acts, including sexual nudity. The same prohibition follows for excessively graphic, gruesome,  or violent media. This also includes profile or header images. Cued is not the appropriate place to share such content. If you come across content that violates this guideline, please report it.

Protection Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Cued maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. This includes the sharing or solicitation of sexually explicit images, media, or messages involving minors; the depiction of simulated, fictional, or symbolic representations of such abuse; and any attempts to contact minors inappropriately, including grooming behaviour.

We take violations of this policy extremely seriously. Any user found to be engaging in CSAE-related activity will be permanently banned from the platform. We immediately remove any reported content that breaches this standard, and we will report relevant violations to law enforcement agencies or recognised child safety organisations in accordance with applicable laws. We encourage all users to report any suspected CSAE activity directly through the in-app reporting system or by emailing support@cued.app.

.

Intellectual Property

You may not infringe on others’ intellectual properties, including copyrights and trademarks. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon on Cued, you can contact us at support@cued.app

Private Information

You must not post, publish, or threaten to expose people’s private information without their consent. This includes releasing another person’s personal or confidential contact information, videos, or images that are considered and treated as private under applicable laws.

Threats, Violence, or Harm

You must not directly or indirectly threaten or encourage harm or violence against a person, a group of people, or someone’s property, including threatening or promoting terrorism. We may remove accounts of those violating this guideline and any content disseminating such behaviors. Please get in touch with the relevant local authorities if you believe that your physical safety or that of another is at risk.

You, our community, play an essential role in helping us to moderate our platform to keep it safe and better for everyone. If you see any content that may violate our Guidelines, please report it by using our in-app reporting feature. We review these reports as soon as possible to determine violations of our Community Guidelines.

You may find content you disagree with or offends you, but that doesn’t violate our Community Guidelines. In such cases, you shouldn’t report it because doing so will slow down our ability to moderate or remove contents that violate our Guidelines.

If you have an issue or problem that can’t be addressed through any of the means outlined above, you can notify us by writing to support@cued.app. Please provide as much context as possible, including usernames and a problem description.

Violation of these Guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent termination, and, where applicable (especially in cases like CSAE), we may report violations to law enforcement authorities or child safety organisations.

We reserve the right to change these guidelines from time to time to support our goal of providing a safe and better community for everyone.

You agree to uphold our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service by using Cued.
